TXD Steel Profile has significantly expanded its galvanized wire mesh inventory, effective July 2026. The product line now covers over 50 distinct mesh opening and wire diameter combinations across welded wire mesh, hexagonal (chicken) mesh, and gabion mesh categories.
Welded wire mesh: Now stocked in mesh openings from 12.7 mm × 12.7 mm (1/2" × 1/2") to 200 mm × 200 mm (8" × 8"), with wire diameters from 0.6 mm to 6.0 mm. Standard panel sizes: 1.2 m × 2.4 m, 1.5 m × 3.0 m, and 2.0 m × 3.0 m. Also available in roll form for lighter gauges up to 2.0 mm wire diameter. Galvanized before welding (GBW) and galvanized after welding (GAW) options available depending on corrosion protection requirements.
Hexagonal wire mesh: Expanded to 10 mesh opening sizes from 10 mm to 80 mm, wire diameters from 0.55 mm to 1.60 mm. Standard roll lengths of 10 m, 25 m, and 50 m, widths up to 2.0 m. PVC-coated hexagonal mesh in green and black is available for garden fencing and aviary applications.
Gabion mesh: New stock additions in 60 mm × 80 mm, 80 mm × 100 mm, and 100 mm × 120 mm mesh openings, wire diameters from 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm. Both Zn-5%Al (Galfan) coated and heavy zinc-coated (≥240 g/m²) wire is available. Gabion mesh is supplied in box form or roll form per project requirements.
The expanded mesh line targets construction (concrete reinforcement, plastering mesh), agriculture (animal enclosures, crop protection), infrastructure (gabion retaining walls, slope stabilization, rockfall netting), security (fencing and anti-climb mesh), and general industrial applications (machine guards, filter mesh, shelving).
Stock levels in the new size range are being built through Q3 2026, with approximately 30 sizes available for immediate dispatch and the full 50+ range expected by September. Custom mesh opening and wire diameter combinations can be produced on order with 15–25 day lead times.
